A Very Merry Christmas in Anthem!
We wish our Anthem family – and extended families – a very safe, happy, and Merry Christmas! We hope you have a wonderful day, spent with those you love most.
We will be stopping by Bread and Butter’s Christmas Open House to pick up some goodies and spread cheer! By all means, you’re welcome to swing by and wish Chef Chris a happy holiday! We can’t possibly recommend the sourdough waffles enough…d-lish is an understatement!
For those of us who live in or around Anthem, this might be something we could have guessed. Forbes Magazine just released a list of the nation’s safest cities, and Henderson – where Anthem sits – is #2!
The City of Henderson is no stranger to quality lifestyle accolades. Money Magazine’s “Best Places to Live” list has featured our little city not once, but twice! We’ve also been featured as a Best Low-Tax Place to Retire by US News & World Report, a Most Secure City by Farmers Insurance, and one of 100 Best Places to Live and Launch a Business by Fortune Small Business Magazine. Second only to Plano, Texas, on this list, Henderson beat out other top-ten finalist cities like Lincoln, NE, Colorado Springs, CO, and San Jose, CA.
The magazine considered a list of more than 70 cities, evaluating for violent crime & traffic rates, according to the statistics reported by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The list also indicates that Henderson’s median income is higher than the national average at $61,861, and the local poverty rate is below the national average at only 7%.
Thank you, Henderson Police, Fire, and Rescue workers, for helping to make our city the 2nd safest in the entire country! We’re all very grateful for your hard work.
